Just a sweet little hybrid vixen trying to survive in a harsh world. Writer, academic, dreamer, natural-born Kropotkinist.
I meet a lot of people for the first time who tell me they own a copy of "Basecraft Cirrostratus." That seems to be the book I'm best known for.
Interests include medieval history and culture, gnostic theology, classical music, aviation, art history, sociology, and the automobile as a work of art.
I currently have four books in print, all of them available from Furplanet

I finished a draft of my short story "The Saboteur." It's a little over 6700 words (18 pages single-spaced).
It's probably the darkest and most downbeat thing I've ever written though. I mean given the WWI setting it makes sense. But I feel like a lot of my angst for the present state of things inevitably percolated through.
Still I have a lot of doubts about it. I guess mostly I just don't know if readers will like the murky anti-climax it built to, the feeling of utter futility and hopelessness it arrives at.
But if anyone I've known for a while would like to read the draft, by all means say so. It won't be posted here until I get a solid yes or no from the publisher and submissions haven't even opened yet.
