I commissioned this piece on the occasion of my first HEMA tournament and immersive reenactment event, and being made a member of La Compagnia Della Rose nel Sole!

Thanks to Crimson Ruari for inviting me to this and encouraging me to keep training. I've come a long way in the last 2 years considering I started from nothing.

Though ironically enough I actually sat out the longsword tournament as I was dealing with hay fever, and I saved my energy for the melee which was mostly spear and rotella. But I jumped in and I did it, and I kept pace with experienced fighters.

I fought, I feasted, I sang centuries old songs and made new friends. Thanks to everyone who made this one of the best experiences of my whole life!

I actually own an outfit like this though I wish it looked half as good in it as my fursona! In fact bluehunter used a photo of me as a reference. They're a joy to commission, professional and very skilled!
