Overdue Update

So the semester is over now, K.I.C III will start soon, and the art will begin to flow! Actually no, only that first part is true. So I thought This was going to be my last semester working on my bachelors degree, but either they changed the requirements slightly or me and the counselor misread the confusing ass "GPS system" my school uses last spring. Because despite passing all of my classes I still need 8 more credit hours. Well, supposedly this time it's for sure so we'll see. Thankfully it's only 8 hours which does leave me some time for my own pursuits, and I have begun working on K.I.C. III. But there are still two issues with that.
1) I was living on borrowed time beforehand and I've run short on good will. If I'm neither actually employed or actively looking for a job I'll be kicked out. And once I do find a job, that will likely take up most of what little time I have left over.
2) I'm trying something new with III, writing wise and hopefully art wise as well. And I really want to hammer out all the kinks before moving on. Pun intended.

But I do really want to start drawing again so... Do expect to see SOMETHING... Just not sure exactly what yet...

Current preference of commissions: Linework!
But other types are available! To see a comprehensive list of my available commission types with example images, visit my FA commission list or peruse my smaller gallery here on weasyl.

Exact price is determined by difficulty/complexity of subject matter. Price includes some background objects (a bed, chair(s), ect.) in a portrait styling, but does not include a proper background. Some shading (as in this example) is included in the price.

Traditional:
Heavily penciled and refined lines. Scan file can be up to 1200 DPI and size can be as large as 8 x 12 inches (or scaled up to 13 x 16 but this kind I can't scan, only photograph and mail). Simply specify your size/file preference when discussing the commission with me. Full shading can be added for an extra fee.

Digital:
As refined as I can make digital line work. The perks of this include the original photoshop file, fewer size restrictions (My PC can only handle 5000 x 5000 pixels with any decency), a high quality final image, "private" streaming session possibilities, and the possible addition of color, greyscale, or sepiatone. Hell, I'll even print it out and do pencil shading if you want.

Mural:
Available in digital or traditional mediums. This sort of thing would be for people looking for complex, busy scenes with lots of little details. It also has no real size limit though extravagantly large images will incur some extra costs. Traditional works I am also limited to 13 x 16 inch images, but can combine them into a larger canvas. Base price includes any full background, greyscale/sepiatone/shading, and up to 15 full (or 30 "half hidden") character depictions. If the image is digital and either large enough, or includes enough characters, it will be made as a composite image and the individual characters/ backgrounds would be available as well.

Digital Paintings:
Include up to 3 characters, full color, and a shape or simple background automatically. Full paintings can take one to two months to complete and are given a "best foot forward" approach. Alternatively I'm now experimentally offering "speed paintings" where the base price of $25 gets you exactly one hour of work (beyond the guide sketch) but you can pay to add more hours of work. In these I'd be trying to work fast to get the base image, and then doing more refining as time moved on.
