We humans have always been looking to the stars; be it for guidance, for relaxation, or out of curiosity, we always gaze with a sense of wonder. I like to think that werewolves might have the same urge to explore the constellations. They might build their mythos from the sky's formations, and study it with heartfelt awe. I wanted this piece to convey the clarity of a night sky untouched by light pollution, with the cool heavenly colors only the cosmos can offer. I hope I touched on that sense of connectedness I get when I see the night sky.

My piece for the 2016 werewolf calendar! I am so excited to be back for this coming year, with a couple of wintry werewolves in awe of the night sky. This piece was such an intense pleasure to work on.

Absolutely lovely!! Going out to a good dark sky site is something I'd recommend to anyone, because it really is an amazing experience!! You can see so many things you normally can't around city lights +o+

In a world/location without light pollution, I imagine werewolves would probably have a good time speculating about what's up there! The night sky is awfully nice, when you can see it. I wonder what sort of mythology or explanations a werewolf might come up with!
