Hey dude, it was great to meet you in person last weekend! I don't know what's become of my brain—been appreciating your fursuit photography for at least a year +!
See you at AC!

Okay, Weasyl says you favourited "Day Guard high on the walls", but I don't see it in the listing the site maintains for you.So, I guess I do thank you for having taken a peek at the picture, but have to wonder if it didn't meet your expectations, or if you just slipped a click.Or if the backend on the server is wonky.

None of the above, I'd say. I do see it in my favorites. But I wonder if it has to do with ratings. I'll have to see what appears when viewed through desktop rather than mobile.
Regardless I do enjoy that image. A beautiful form wearing a stylish cape scores high with me.

XD Admittedly, a full armor as in https://www.weasyl.com/submission/810067/amazone-in-plate-mail or https://www.weasyl.com/submission/810277/amazone-armor-colored would have costed extra due to complexity of detail...

I like the symbolism of a tattered cape, displaying the effects of many storms it has been lashed by yet it still clings on, not being blown away.

Well, in a way the description points at that: "Her cloak, a gift from her first fennekim partner, shows the signs of long years of use. And whilst she lost her first partner, ever since she kept the silken cloak"She survived several small "battlemates". Some she couldn't save at all, others went with her for years and some accident befell them. None of them, however, retired from her side.
Most likely she'll retire when her cape finally is worn through wholly - and then, when she lives to see that day, she'll ask to join the family of her first partner. She'll raise maybe another daughter or two of her own there, and help with the brothers and sisters of her first partner, working her part in the family as a clerk, or in some other position her educaton and training is advantageous for.
