Hello there! You can call me Shetani, and I'm a king cheetah!

I've been an "official" member of the furry fandom since 2012, and fursuiting since 2014! I attend at least one furry convention every year, and try to go to as many other cons as time and budget allows. You may have seen me in the past at Anthrocon, FA: United, Anthro New England, or various non-furry cons on the East Coast.

I have little to no artistic ability, so anything you see here will almost always be commissioned work drawn by others. Buying art from artists in the fandom is one way I like to give back to the furry community.

I do have a lovely fursuit made by MagpieBones! Yes, it probably looks rather different from what you're used to. If you have about 15 minutes to spare, I'll tell you all about it.

Follow me on Twitter and Instagram for fursuit photos every week! I have a YouTube channel too!

Please feel free to message me or leave a comment, I'd love to make more friends here! You can also follow me on any of the other sites conveniently listed below.

Hope you enjoy your stay! 🐾

Anthro New England 2019 Con Journal

Don't like reading? Watch it in video format!

Q: Where are you staying?
A: The Boston Park Plaza, which is the con hotel!

Q: What day are you getting there and how long are you staying?
A: I'm arriving Thursday afternoon and leaving Monday morning!

Q: Who will you be rooming with?
A: My partner larchus larchus! Our roommate bailed last minute and I don't really feel like vetting a bunch of internet strangers in like 4 days, so I'm going to try and see if we can switch our room to a single bed.

Q: How are you traveling?
A: A bus and also a train

Q: What is your gender?
A: Female (she/her)

Q: How tall are you?
A: 5'1"

Q: What do you look like?
A: Here's my fursuit, though I'll be wearing a couple different outfits I worked hard to assemble! I will also be debuting my Carbon Fiber D.Va cosplay in public for the first time!

Q: Are there any panels you might be attending?
A: I will be hosting the Cheet & Greet panel on Friday at 1 PM in Ballroom 2! It was intended to be a casual meetup for cheetah furs and fans, but I have it on good word that we're going to be invaded by snow leopards and possibly some other fursuiters... it promises to be quite interesting~ This is my first time ever hosting an officially scheduled meetup, so please come check it out!
Aside from that, I plan to attend the Pin Trading panel on Friday (right after my cheetah meetup), the tea panel, the documentary filming on Sunday, and whatever else my partner wants to see. I will also be in the Saturday Fursuit Group Photo, of course!

Q: What about meetups or other events?
A: Depending on scheduling, I may be in a music video hosted by Jack Blackheart. It's been quite a while since I volunteered my con time for a video project that actually saw the light of day, so I hope this goes smoothly! If you're hosting a party, gathering, or general hangout you think I or my rat lady would enjoy, let us know.

Q: Where will you be most of the time during the day?
A: Most likely the Dealer's Den/Artist's Alley, or at those panels/meets I mentioned earlier.

Q: What/where will you be eating?
A: Maybe Fire & Ice again? There was a pretty cute little diner last year that we ate at; we may return there. I have to check the unofficial dining guide and plan out some eating spots. Recs from locals would be very helpful.

Q: Can I come with you for food/fun/etc.?
A: You're more than welcome to! If you're a local I will probably defer to your food judgement (see above).

Q: Will you be suiting?
A: Yup! I'll be in the fursuit group photo on Saturday and at the Cheet & Greet on Friday for sure, as well as suiting around randomly.

Q: If I see you, how should I get your attention?
A: Yell "Shetani!" or tap me on the shoulder.

Q: What is the best way to find you?
A: Contact me on Twitter (@ShetaniCheetah) or Telegram! I don't give my Telegram out, but you can ask for it. If you're in the ANE Telegram chat, you've probably seen me there already!

Q: Do you do free art, trades, or badges? Do you have an artist table?
A: No, sorry! I can't draw. :( I was invited to a couple sketchbook swaps, but I feel weird getting drawings from other folks when I can't draw them something in return.

Q: Can I talk to you?
A: Absolutely! I love making new friends! Please don't ever feel shy or hesitant about talking to me, I promise I would love to say hello to you! At the last con I attended, I knew hardly anyone there and I felt pretty lonely - then after I'd gotten home, a bunch of people messaged me "Oh, I saw you but I was too scared to come talk to you." That doesn't help either of us, LOL! Just come say hi, I promise I won't bite.

Q: Can I take your picture?
A: Absolutely! Just let me know first so I can strike a pose for ya, and for the love of fluff, PLEASE send me the pictures or tag me on social media when you post them! It's no fun to have a bunch of people take pictures of you and never get to see any of them.
(This goes for in-fursuit only, for the record. Do not take pictures of me outside of suit. That's creepy and unnecessary.)

Q: Can I buy you drinks?
A: You can buy me a non-alcoholic beverage in a closed container! I like fruit-flavored drinks, tea, and water.

Q: Can I give you stuff?
A: Oh heck yeah! I'll be celebrating my birthday at ANE again (Sunday the 24th), and b-day gifts would be super duper appreciated! I'll probably give you a biiiiig ol' hug and ask to take a photo with you and your present :3

Q: Can I hug or snuggle with you?
A: I'll hardly ever say no to a hug when asked! Snuggles are probably not gonna happen.

Q: Are you nice?
A: Of course!

Q: Will you be going to parties?
A: I really don't think so, unless I'm invited to one.

Q: Will you be performing?
A: No, I'm not talented!

Q: What's your goal for the con this year?
A: Successfully run a panel, get some pictures taken, have a great time with my gf, and maybe (finally) work up the courage to dance up on the stage.
