Yeah, but so it goes... the other furry art sites are somewhat devoid of this as well; at least in my experience (FA comes to mind). Even on non-furry sites like DA it can be a bit scarce. .v.
I guess that when the focus is placed so heavily on fandom, there's less demand for actual artisanship than there would be in a fandom-neutral zone. And it's not like I even mind erotic fiction that much (I've written a few pieces myself), but the subject does get old rather quickly.
Plus, if I'm going to fap to something, I'd like it to at least be spelled and punctuated correctly. You know? Haha.
If you can't tell, I've thought a bit on this subject before. x3

There are quite a few writers on FA who write specifically to include furry characters, as opposed to including furry characters because they "fit"
Which works I guess when you're writing for an interest group (furry fetishists, etc.), but doesn't lend itself to good literature P:
