And now, to top off my holiday decorations--here is my desk for the 2021 winter holiday season! It is primary Animal Crossing-themed, but there's a bit of Pokemon decor as well.
I got one of those Pokemon advent calendar thingies, with little figures for each day..........but I wanted to get the decoration on my desk right away, so I opened it all to set up. XD
The top of my desk--the Animal Crossing-themed focus--is based around New Leaf. The characters pictures are all residents [hostages] of my town (meaning, these are the guys I never allow to leave--EVER). Antonio (black-and-white anteater) is my sole surviving founding member of the town, he's been there the past 8+ years that I've been playing it as soon as I started my first game of ACNL. Then there's Zucker (a living dango--seriously!), Flurry (chubby white hamster), Fang (wolf--and the only person I've ever invited from the campsite), Phoebe (the fabulous phoenix) and Julian (the blue unicorn, whom I highly suspect is probably gay by his dialogue).
They are all wearing "ugly sweater[shirts]" and the plaza tree is decorated with lights and huge ornaments resembling the leaves and fossils you can find in the town. I like the wrapping paper I found for the sky background--it's the perfect blue-grey that the sky usually is in winter and if you're far enough away, those stars can be pretended to represent snow. :)

I’ll admit, it is my favorite time of year. I don’t like winter, but everything that Christmas is meant to stand for is everything I can get behind. We need more goodwill and peace in this world, especially now. :)
Since there’s no good holidays upcoming after this but Valentine’s Day……not sure what I’ll plan next for my desk! XD
I bet you could get something Christmassy done before next weekend! :D

Being an Aussie, my christmas is just a big heat wave lol I have only ever seen snow once and it was basically slush cos I went into the mountains at the wrong time of the year to get the good snow.

As I get older, the less and less I like snow and cold! I’ll take your heat wave at the holidays! laughs

Thanks! I have lots of fun doing it! :D I basically drew my favorite characters from ACNL that are in my town--I've only got one of these guys in my ACNH game, that's Zucker. I remember when he moved into my ACNL game and I'm like--is he really a living Dango??? (Octopus ball--a fried treat in Japan.) I knew I had to keep him, for sure! XD
I haven't yet decided what to do for Spring, yet--I'll probably take the specific Christmas-y side panels down, but I think I can leave the main desk part up for "winter themed" for a little while longer. :)

Hehe, Zucker is certainly pretty cute. :3 You did such a good job! I would definitely keep the winter theme if it means keeping these cuties up!

That's a lotta Christmas, I should probably make something Christmassy before the new year happens
