Perseverance didn’t find much time to rest on an average day. Even when they did, their skittish nature made them hardly able to take advantage of it. This didn’t stop them from dreaming, however.

Each time Perseverance entered the dream realm, it was the same. Out beyond the aether, they floated amongst the void. Carried along by a golden stream toward the warmth of stars, they felt safe. Here, they were at peace.

However, it was but a dream. Even so, Perseverance always looked forward to finding a moment’s respite, enough to peek into that realm of safety and warmth.
