I got my new guinea pigs ^-^ by Hazel3

Welcome to your new home my new friends! ^-^ Today I got my new guinea pigs! There weren't any girls left so I got some boys, both calico I think :3 the darker one is called Choco and the lighter one is called Chip ^w^ so Choco Chip! I've yet to find out their age and whether they're brothers or not, and I gave em a cuddle before I put them in their new cage

I brought them out again for another cuddle just to help them get use to them. They were talking to me more so I'm guessing they're only just starting to get more confident with me UwU

Choco seemed alot more skittish and alert, he kept wanting to climb over my shoulder and made little complainy squeaks when I put him back to where he was at. He politely nibbled me as a way to let me know he needed down for a weewee, so I let him go back

Chip is just as timid, but slightly more laidback. He was the one that was popcorning alot before I got him, heh X3 He lays quietly on my lap, and also gave me a lick. I have a feeling I might be able to befriend Chip easier, so I'll work on taming Choco more, while still giving Chip the love he deserves

Update 05/08/2022: They're bros! I sometimes call them the chocolate brothers as referring to them both :3 I'm sure we'll all be best friends ^w^

    They look so cute, sadly I have a little fear of interacting with rodents for an unknown reason, I just get a little fearful of them :s

      Don't worry, guinea pigs are alot less prone to biting than most rodents, and are very gentle animals :3 if they need to tell you something, they are very polite and will very gently nibble you and lick you without hurting you, especially as a polite reminder like when they need down as they don't want to do the toilet on you. they're smart things and can even learn tricks once tame ^w^

      It takes a little getting use to I think! I know some hamsters and gerbils tend to be more prone to biting and if you're scared of that, I completely understand! I would be too, so you're not alone don't worry :3 they're usually very timid when you first get them and rather run and hide when they get frightened, which can often give me a fright too since it can be so sudden and fast, but I think it just depends on the person really ÚwÙ

    Awww they're precious ^_^ I miss my guinea pig, he was an albino named Zander, like in Alexander, he lived a good life~

      Sorry for your loss :< I hope you manage to get yourself some new friends soon <:3 Just a friendly reminder that remember it's best to get more than one guinea pig as they easily get sad and lonely all on their own QwQ
