Yeah, FA got hit pretty hard these past days, and now is on read-only mode. Sucks that it had to go through it all, but they do need to step up their game.

Yeah... FA got hit pretty hard. Though what bothers me is that everyone I know has been really hard on the FA team as if they did something wrong. According to the info given, an exploit elsewhere gave access to FA's source code, which some doucebag distributed during a convention. So, some hack-tards got together and decided to attack the site. I doubt it has as much to do with any disdain for the mods or the site as furries in general... or even just some prick being a prick. Either way, a lot of people have been acting like FA made another mistake... when they really didn't.
Don't get me wrong, they've screwed the pooch more times than I can count and maybe this could be chalked up to karma, but being mad at them for this is pretty unfounded. They didn't leak the source code or cause the attack... so they're just as much of the victims as we are.
Anyways, I've always got DA and Weasyl as backups, so no worries here =3
