Hello and welcome to my userpage!

You may call me Tene. I'm an aspiring traditional artist, engineering student, big cat lover and amateur baker!

Here's my back story with art. I started taking art more seriously in 2010, but it was 2012 when I wanted to start drawing more animals. I love using traditional media; I've most experience with pencils, although I've given pastels, acrylics and watercolours tries too and I hope to use them more in the future!

Drawing for me is the best way to relax and let imagination flow. I don't draw art to earn money from commissions or because I want to be the greatest artist of this century; I draw for the pure pleasure of it!

About myself now: I am a very shy and often depressed person. I do try very hard to come across well to people where I can, though! Hopefully I'll get to meet some great people here!

I cannot deny that I feel nervous about joining here.

I suppose it's how I'm to live up to the reputation of the artists on here and even the site itself; I've heard only good things about Weasyl (hence why I joined), how it's become a swift success.

I'm glad I decided to join. I'm nervous, yes, but eager to really prove myself.

So, a little more about me.

I'm not an artist in many senses of the words. I study engineering at university, so that takes up almost all my time. However, should free time come up, I draw. I have to confess that I cannot draw much; in fact, the only thing I can actually draw (to some extent) are tigers. That's enough to keep me happy, but surely I must do more to show what I can REALLY do? Yes, I'm looking to improve.

My aims for art? Just to get better and better, do trades to meet people, perhaps even one day open up for commissions? Digital art has a dominating grip. I'm a traditional artist determined to continue supporting the traditional methods. I'm a minority! I promise you, though, I will be trying my best to give traditional all the glory that it deserves.

I'm not a very interesting person. I've not got that much to talk about. I'm not very good to talk to either owing to some problems I've had over the course of my life, but that's not to say that I'll be trying hard to come across as a good person. I'm always happy to chat! I prefer to chat through Skype, so if you'd like to get to know me, then by all means ask for my Skype name!
