I am a 21-year-old artist and architect student from Finland. I have always been passionate about art but I don't wish to make it my career because I feel like if I do art for a job I might spot enjoying it the way I do now. However, I do take commissions and sell my art to earn a little extra and to offer my skills to people.

Aside from art my interests include video games and books as well as good music. My taste in music is quite vast but I mostly listen to metal and epic instrumental music. I also love going to metal concerts.

As for video games, one of the big names is Pokemon, which is probably one of the biggest influences in my life. I draw fanart and I even have a Nuzlocke comic I post on the Nuzlocke forums and my deviantART. Aside from Pokemon I really enjoy games such as The Elder Scrolls and The Witcher series.

As an artist I'm a bit of a undefined case as I am very versatile: I draw fanart and original art, traditional and digital works and I have many different techniques according to whatever media I use. Despite that I would define myself more as a painter than a drawer but among my works you will see plenty of both drawings and paintings.

I am an artist who pursues to improve in art and appreciate it. I want to inspire and get inspired. I want to wholeheartedly enjoy and feel art.

For over seven years I have shared my works on the interned under the name of ShadeofShinon. I would've liked to be called just Shinon, but that wasn't technically possible. Now it is.

I come from deviantArt and I am seeking for something that I once thought dA was. A friendly artist community for appreciating art. Times change and deviantART is also changing. I fear the place I once, and still, hold dear is taking a bad turn. I will still be active over there but now I will be spreading my roots and branches in here as well, maybe eventually move the whole tree.

Time will show.

The first glance at this sight showed growing potential and a chance for a nice fresh start. I will be starting slowly but I'm hoping to get a lot of my deviantART's content in here. But for now I'll be just checking things out, figure out how they work and go step by step.
