This was a commission I did for RexAmon from Furbase.

I was so happy that I got the opportunity to draw his character, I always loved those beautifull mapie-like wings. :)
So when he came up with the idea to commission me, I was ready to start and had my wing-tutorials at hand. lol

He wished for a night scene, where he and Sheera are looking for the first stars of night to come out. Because I had an attack of masochism, I thought it would be a great idea to let him sweep over the sky with one wing and change the sunset into night to show Sheera the stars they are waiting for.
It was masochism because of that strange light you have in the end (because you know, it doesnt happen like this in natureXD) and I did my best to make it look as nice and beliefable as I could.

Everything is done on watercolor paper with polychromos colored pencils and a touch of white ink.

The scan doents do it justice, but if you have a good monitor it comes close enough I think. ;)

So I hope RexAmon and Sheera are happy with it and satisfied with me. ^^
