Finaly after ages: Personal art from me! XD
This is what I had done over the weekend in my rare spare time between commissions. :)
Hopefully it will find its way to the eurofurence artshow this year.

Dat light! No seriously, this is adorable. You placed the colors very well! Everything is glowing but not as a big huge neon shield. More decent and natural. :)

I can hardly explain it. Someday the picture of a black wolf on an gold/ember colored background popped up in my head. Because I felt it was too simple, I tried to work out a concept around ember. That mysterious stones wich captured creatures ages ago and preserved their moment of death for all times. It might sound creepy in the first moment, but what I had in mind and wanted to depict was the wish to freeze one perfect moment forever.
Like a moment with your loved one or a special friend, presered forever and retrievable whenever you need it.-
This explanation makes the picture just 20+% more awesome. :D
I've never seen amber that way before. For me it was more like some kind of spyhole which allows your mind to travel back to a world millions of years ago. This is heading in the same direction but your thought of it goes much deeper. It is indeed inspiring.
