Western Rat Cooks Eastern Cuisine. by Ryngs

Western Rat Cooks Eastern Cuisine.

Ryngs

Commission for Nicodemus.

Smoke and embers rise from a flame kissed wok filling the kitchen lit by a bright sunny day beyond a window off scene. As a western Rat aggressive cooks an eastern cuisine agitating the cooking fire. The sweet and spicy scents drift on the still air.

I spent to much time on this one. I was asked to paint Nicodemus (The Fur, not the character for the Secret of NIMH), cooking Asian food with a Wok. This is what I came up with. The step by steps of this one can be found on my Patreon page (for any Patrons).

So it's almost like an anthropomorphic Ratatouille. XD

This looks even better than in the previews or in stream. Those smoke effects are so beautiful and subtle, the background is fantastic... and everything else - Wooooo!
Would it be inappropriate to say "I want to have your art babies"?

Fantastic and amazing as usual! Though I think I personally liked the black and white version a bit better. :)

The human eye is better suited at distinguishing value (light and darks), over color. A lot of people like seeing black and white art over color (though they may not fully realize it). Our eyes are only slightly more evolved then a canines eye. We do not see the full range of color or it subtleties that exists in "actual" reality. Also, different people may see color in different ways (like in the case of color blindness). Grey scale does not have this problem.

      And Thank you [Bows]
