Batch of badges for 2014! It's been a rough year, so only one batch. However, I love them all and I think I've reached an understanding with the materials! Also I was able to try something new; you'll see that Selene has silver leaf (VERY striking when it catches it light, it flares this gorgeous white) and she also features a real moonstone in her hand. I'd love to experiment more with different colored metal leafs and 3D materials in the future!

Each badge features mixed media (colored pencil, paint, metal leaf, gel pen, antiquing glaze). In person, the metal leaf shines even when the rest of the badge is in shadow (they are GREAT at picking up reflective light sources) and features several metallic gel pen accents as well; every character here has shining eyes and jewelry, which doesn't often scan well but glitters nicely in person! :)

I'll take a break from these and work up some new samples... I think Tierney is due for an updated badge, and I still need to show what mini-badges will be! :)
