Last day of the month and I managed to get something done for MerMay. XD
A combination of markers, watercolors and gel pens. Some random oceanic (made up) creatures. :)

Thanks so much—if it weren’t so hot, I would’ve tried to do better shading. XD Some of my markers are going bad with the extreme heat we’ve had lately. @_@

Oh noooo!!! D: That really sucks... I wonder if there's something that can be done to protect the markers during the heat. hmm.

Not sure if it’s safe to refrigerate markers or not…….probably not! XD
I noticed it’s starting with my darker color markers first, though—my blacks and greys are getting puffy and “exploding”. @_@

That's honestly a good question. I have no idea either! Depending on the marker, it might be ok. Alcohol doesn't really freeze so it might not actually be bad for them but could always ask customer service for your markers and see what they say.

True, that! It's going to be a long, hot summer it looks like--I wonder if I should just like use my big in-the-cooler ice pack and put my markers in a box and just freeze up the ice pack everyday and leave the markers in the box with the icepack while I'm gone during the day. Try and salvage them just a little bit longer this year. :)
