One of the best things that happened this trip was being able to see not just one California Condor, but easily about 7 of them, and not just spread out through the visit, all at once. At a viewing location named Mather Point, there's an outcropping of rocks right near the railing and apparently, it's a good spot for the Condors to rest and watch over the canyon. This fella was one of the many that were resting, and if he right next to me, a good 2'6''-3' ft tall with a wingspan that probably ran close to 7'-8' ft across. Talk about a big bird!

Wow, what a beautiful and scenic capture! Love how you framed the shot and how you can make out all of the details of the condor's feathers.
