One of the best things that happened this trip was being able to see not just one California Condor, but easily about 7 of them, and not just spread out through the visit, all at once. At a viewing location named Mather Point, there's an outcropping of rocks right near the railing and apparently, it's a good spot for the Condors to rest and watch over the canyon. This one was one of the closer birds to the side of the rocks facing where the railing was, so I was able to get a pretty decent up close shot for some good details on him. That eye are red, freaky!
