HOLY CRAP, TWO SPECIES POSTED WITH ONLY 1 DAY BETWEEN? Amazing I know but this was a species I had in mind for ages and has a relatively simple design so I worked overtime getting it done. Also amazingly I actually used bright yellow as the main colour or something which is the hardest colour I find to use. Go me! Now on to the horror at hand:
Illej are a resident of the Vishquinza's home planet of Numamai. These creatures are a semi aquatic slime (yes that's the actual animal class' name) that reproductive through asexual fragmentation. They spend the majority of their life as a mini version of the adult stage (see the tiny thing besides the humans in the size comparison) but in order to reproduce they need to be both quite large and eat a lot so when puberty starts they go on a feeding frenzy and will eat almost any organic matter that will fit in their mouth. They swallow it whole which means if its alive... yeah it gets rapidly digested while still alive how lovely.

Over several months they get bigger and bigger and will start splitting off a mini me here and there. Eventually they get to their max size (the larger one seen in the size comparison) where they... well unfortunately usually starve to death because they can eat fast enough to keep their body going. So yeah that little image on the side showing their reproduction is actually pretty tragic :,(

As far as behaviour goes they're kinda just sit around looking cute as children and do nothing but eating as adults. They're pretty simple like that. Also before you ask: yes that thing floating in its head is its brain, usually not a fan of the visible brain motif (it used to disturb me as a kid... it kinda does a bit still as an adult) but at least this is in its head, it just happens their head is partially transparent and doesn't have any kind of bones!
