I really need to stop getting distracted because I could have gotten this up yesterday x-x Anyway hey look finally a species in relation to the Ferron! There will be more of those to come I assure you.
So the uoddon are a large large avian from on the planet Tempae within 3 of its continents. They're omnivores though their main diet is plants, all the same they aren't really good hunters and what meat they get is mostly from little creatures that move too closer or from the kill of other predators. They tend to move in large herds made of of both males and females though usually headed by the males. While the uoddon are usually earthly colours and the same size and appearance during most of the year shortly before mating season occurs the male's crest plumage falls out and is replace by much longer more colourful feathers, also the tips of his horns develop similar colours and patterns. Oddly enough the inside of his mouth is always that bright (likely the result of never needing to lose it to keep camouflaged).

Despite all the horns and claws going on uoddon are actually pretty chill and tend to have a temperament similar to cattle. Also like cattle Ferron do raise them as livestock for both their meat and hide (though Ferron being hunters tend to still primarily eat wild game). Unlike cattle though no milk... obviously but their feathers are very soft and numerous so they can be used in a number of things.
As a last bit of info they are in fact a somewhat close biological relative of Ferron (think of it as around humans to baboons). While Ferron became fully bipedal apex predators these fellows maintain a mix diet and will walk on all 4s while grazing.
