Yay I'm still doing ok getting these out in a timely manner (though I may slow down soon for the sake my sleep has been off and I probably need a day or two to fix that x-x). Anyway behold the bevaliam! This creature resides from the planet Karkarr and has an interesting ecological relationship with the tenaliam . You see a few million years ago they filled a similar niche in their environment as they are both solitary medium sized omnivores which primary diet was meat. At some point the bevaliam started to "win" per say by becoming larger and larger and starting to prey on their competition. As a result the tenaliam had to adapt using something they already had over their predator: a better more complex brain. Tenaliam started to have pseudo "packs" where multiple individuals would tolerate each other's presence in order to kill any bevaliam that ended up in their territory. Eventually they moved up from waiting for their predator to come to them to using group dynamics to hunt and eat bevaliam.
In the end most of the largest sub species of bevaliam ended up going extinct (whoops!) leaving these smaller ones around to this day where they still go head to head sometimes.

As far as behaviour goes they're not particular aggressive but they are pretty fearless so if they're hungry and you look like food you're in trouble. Even these smaller sub species have been know to attack and even successfully take down adult Tenaliam and other even bigger animals on Karkarr. As you'd imagine from a creature with such a jaw they have a massive bite force that can decimate almost anything that messes with them.

Anyway as far as inspiration goes this species is kinda a mix of toy dog I had as a kid which a huge head in a big jaw and a few various mammals, also crocodiles a bit for the face. So enjoy!
