Part one of my art trade with moongara of her fursona.
Why do all the awesome characters have so much black involved??? LOL!
I had a lot of fun drawing this for her, but this is a good example of how I need to come up with a better way to do black on black with burning. Were this watercolor I would have no problems but it took me a long time to finally teach myself how to do black on black with the pencils so I am hopeful I will get it nailed down the more I attempt characters such as this.

Colors used: Purple, glitter purple gel pen for the border and letters(the letters were burned first and the gel pen pooled into the engraved surface), silver and blue gel pens for her gems, little bit of feather grey for her armor and sword, some blue, and a bit of goldenrod in the background and some brown to make her hair stand out a bit better.
