Part two of my art trade with moongara of her mates fursona.

I am pretty stoked about this guy!! At first I was nervous because I was not sure how to go about giving him his scaly body, if I should just flat shade him or do each individual scale....I COMPLETELY winged this, fully prepared to do this over with my experimenting failing, BUT! It worked!!!!

I did my sqiggly texture on his body first, putting in the shading, then going over it with a watercolored pencil. Not satisfied with that outcome, I just put the color on really thick and went back over everything with the burner and ta da! Purple dragon =D Not too bad for my first in many, many years!

This is a wood burning. The color was added by using watercolor pencil and sparkly gel pens. Colors used are: Imperial Purple, Photo Blue, White, and a blue Starlite gel pen.
