Commissioned by verlis for his lovie caninehybrid as a Valentines Day gift.

I had so much fun with this couple you have no idea =D

These are wood burnings! Which means any of the "black" or browns was done with a heated tool and is the natural color of the wood. Watercolor pencils I used:
Front: a mixture of light blue and grey for the collar and her eyes, white gel pen for the eye shine and whites of her eyes, a bit of golden rod for the shadows/background around her as well as the border.
Backside: I experimented a bit with some new gel pens for the coloring of the name. I used the light blue and the grey Glaze pens from Gelly Roll, which are made more for metal or plastic surfaces because they give a textured, raised look. So...they are not ideal for porous surfaces such as wood, however that did not stop me! Took a few layers but I like the end result =)
