nah, thank you for drawing that. holy shit, they look so much like Mulder and Scully, just for their expressions even though the faces themselves are not really like theirs at all and i love it. I'm going to learn some things off your work, I just know it.

LOL, well that would be great! I hope you do! =) They do look like Mulder and Scully, that's hilarious! If you like cop shows, I highly recommend Broadchurch. Not sci-fi, just a murder mystery, but the characters are fan-freakin-tastic. It was the rapport between Mulder and Scully that made that show good, and it's the same with Broadchurch.

yeah I'm not a huge law/detective fan myself but i was a huge Dick Tracy fan for a bit as a kid, legit enjoyed stuff like Columbo and Matlock every once in a while, then of course X-Files and I try to like CSI and its spinoffs but that and other shows seem to borrow too heavily from it while kind of spitting in its eye. So I love the idea of something with a similar spirit but that just strips away all the over the top zaniness for some realism because then it'd have to get by on its characters and cases and not its gimmicks. I mean CSI might as well be Dick Tracy for its reliance on impossible tech and probably even impossible science.

One of the things that makes the show so successful, I think, is the fact that they are investigating the same murder for all eight episodes. So it's a very rich story with great character development. There is more than the crime happening in the show. It's really more of a character drama that happens to be about two detectives.
