Feh. I shouldn't have to chase everyone around seven different art sites with the same general fandom dumbing all of them up. "Leaving" an art site is just going to shrink your audience. It's not going to solve any problems. It's not going to get you away from the "toxic environment" (because guess what! Your problem is with human nature.), and it's not going to make anyone behave.
That said, you ought to stop being such a sexy shark. You're tempting me to have a reason to actually keep up with Weasyl.

Thank you for choosing to grace my page with your presence all the way over from FA. Sorry you had to get past your entitlement to get you to trundle over here just to talk to me, but I appreciate it just the same! I don't see why you're putting "Leaving" in quotes, as I don't remember going back there since I've left, and I'm quite happy to have done so. But I suppose everyone has an opinion. As for solving problems, I think it solved mine quite handily; until you came to gave me a reminder of why I left, I have had nothing but good experiences with everyone else here. Ah, something else I should mention, I don't really care about that number that says how many people are following me. It's not a popularity contest for me, I like art, I want to get art of my character, and I want to put it up where other people can enjoy if they want to! If they don't, no skin off my nose, because I'm happy.
So... sorry to burst the bubble you seem to have that everyone's human nature matches yours, but I'm quite happy here, and I've already seen mods doing a better job here than on FA. Could just be my naive eyes though, who knows? Regardless, it's the decision I chose, and while I'm happy that you came by to tell me how wrong I am, I'm going to blissfully continue on in my own little bubble of happiness and just ignore the human nature you seem to want to educate me with. No hard feelings, but if it helps to think about it this way, it's less I'm ignoring people wanting to be assholes and stooping to their level, and more choosing who I would like to associate myself with. It's been my policy for years and it's served me really quite well, and I don't want to associate with FA any longer. So, hope you continue enjoying where you choose to be, while I continue on my merry way!
