Even Sony, Norton and a few other sites are being hit lol. I'm Laughing so hard at the fact that Norton failed to protect themselves :P

It might have something to do with that SSL 3.0 vulnerability that was recently announced. Inkbunny was also DDoS'ed, but it quickly recovered. IB had disabled SSL 3.0 earlier today, so I suppose it's a possibility, especially considering the issues with non-furry sites mentioned by Bt2breakskn above.

So if Sony, Norton, and others aren't hit, maybe it's not an ideological move. I thought that some far-right anti-furry Taliban was trying to silence us with violence in the form of a ideologically based DDoS attack based solely for our identity. Could just be "for the lulz" after all.

Guys, spread this around, but there is a group called DerpTrolling. They're an anonymous group of hundreds of guys from Russia, who anonymously take requests (or do it on their own time) to DDoS attack companys, gaming, and other stuff.

My experience in their attacks was when they were DDoS'ing gaming, like League of Legends, Blizzard, Steam (I think), etc. So they must have gotten bored, asked for suggestions, and some idiots requested that they DDoS'd general furry sites, which brings us here.

I hope nothing happen here.

somehow, I think this is rather serious, someone doesn't like who we are and they have too much time on their hands. If there was a way to back trace it, I would hope that the law would catch the guy(s) responsible for this. It's not fair to those who just want to have fun and those who make a indirect living off FA and some of the other sites.
