Well, that happend... by Rainbow Apocalypse

Be up all morning/night because crippling insomnia/anxiety
Friend calls up at 6am on Wednesday and says "HEY JOIN OUR ROAD TRIP ACROSS STATE TO PLAY SMASH"
"..........."
"IT WILL BE FUN WE ARE ALL GOING"
"..........berrrglgngdfghsdjfg, oh, why not"
So we drive across state, then get there and hang out in line all day
Got to spend 5 hours in line listening to 15-30 year old men argue with one another about video games and trash talk about how they were going to "pwn" each other once we got inside.
There was so many games of Mario kart on 3DSs that multiple groups of people had to distance themselves since only 8 players could play on one track and there were 3x that trying to play.
I also got to watch real pokemon battles take place, as in real, random people aggressively calling each other out, talking shit, then proceed to battle on their 3DSs like their lives depended on it.
Once we got in we were separated into groups of 4, but I got to play with the people who drove me there so all was well. Game was fun and I totally what I expected.
I got home around 7:30pm, and after cleaning off a bit I literally hit my bed, passing out at 8.
I wake up later, use the restroom and eat a small, quickly microwavable thing. It's still dark outside and I feel like SHIT, so I go back to sleep, seeing if I can perhaps get a regular nights sleep.
Wake up and look at clock, it's 8, and the light outside my window is dim.
"Well, looks like I managed a good 12 hours sleep! Maybe now I will function like a normal human be-"
It's not getting brighter outside, it's getting darker
Recheck clock: IT'S 8PM!!
"..........."
"..........."
"..........."

So there. I finally got some sleep; real sleep, with dreams and everything. You would think I'd feel well rested, but I don't. I feel disoriented and blarg. Now back to crippling insomnia/anxiety!

Well, that happend...

Sometimes oversleeping makes you feel tired still. I slept for 36 hours straight one time and woke up feeling even more tired.... but I eventually picked back up. Either way, I hope you are able to get to the point where you feel rested and less anxious soon!

I can feel you there. I basically sleep either 2 or 20 hours per sleeping period. Can't really say per night because my rhythm is chaotic. :F
I've found melatonin pills to help a bit. (strong ones, 5mg or more)

I think I was awake for about 34-40 hours yesterday/day before and basically the day after (today, Fri the 13 with a full moon) as well as I was talking to someone across the date line so it was like I was basically awake across 3 days in some crazy way that made sense. Like, I got my Fri the 13th in when it wasn't even Fri the 13th here yet. On 3 or 4 bowls of smoke. I have had a hangover and a headache all day. Totally worth it. Yesterday-and-then-some was spiritual. I can't even summarize how much crazy shit happened. I'm just surprised I didn't crash longer after than I did.

I most recently 'not-woke-up' abruptly from a dream that trolled me so hard I faintly muttered "FUCK!"

The dream lasted for about 4 minutes, the part that bitchslapped me being somewhere around 0.489 milliseconds in duration.

I've been 'hanging out in 2011' with Dissidia 012 [duodecim] Final Fantasy for the PSP/PS Vita. Play it. It features the voices of Lust from FullMetal Alchemist, Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach, and Keith David from Inuyasha's first season promo..... <333
