life updates i guess!! by VCR-WOLFE
school is....busy! i have a real long block of animation classes and thats,,, takin quite a bit outta me. animation is a type of thought process very different from my own so its a little bit frustrating ill admit! its coming along though and im sure ill get a handle of it and figure out that the hell im doing,,,,,, in the mean time tho its made me a bit sluggish with art outside of school hahah oops. i do try to stay loose and sketch every day to maintain things shrugs gently
uhmmm personal news i guess but one of my friends had gotten me two binders as a gift(as my old binder was accidentally destroyed by my aunt when she finished my laundry for me one time) and its been a good few months since ive worn a binder ;o; gunna have to get used to it again even tho i dont think ill be wearing it every day
online art news, im thinking of possibly still using furaffinity???? but like....in a weird way. im thinking maybe at the end of every month ill pick the piece i did during the month that i feel is the best work, and post that to furaffinity with a link to my da and weasyl galleries. i think that sounds like a p good idea, what do you guys think?

mm ill be leaving fa for reasons previously mentioned but i figured incentive to have people watch me elsewhere would be a good idea as opposed to simply up and leaving

May potentially let people who would like to watch you after you've left find you here as opposed to thinking you no longer upload at all anywhere or not being able to find you. You're artwork is lovely.

I think it's a good idea. FA is terrible, but not so terrible that you should limit exposure of your work.

Animation courses sound neat! Hard, definitely challenging, but neat. It's always seemed like such a different way of conceptualizing what you're drawing wowe. I'm also glad you have a binder for when you want it. I know I personally was basically housebound for the week I didn't have one. ;-;
Also the FA idea sounds like a pretty neat thing to do. It's probably better than going cold turkey in some respects, I dunno.

I think it's fine to make some announcements and link them over to other spots. I see no harm in that. Do what you have to do, but I feel confident you do well for yourself already, dear.
And sorry to hear about the laundry fiasco. I had a similar incident just yesterday with a little brother who thought he was helping. And Good luck in school! I wish you well. <3-

Maybe it you have time Show us some sketches and doodles?
The once a month thing for Fa sounds good, maybe even twice a month when you had more time to draw for your own but
I think that is a good period to keep you in people's mind and remind them.of weasyl and more activity here. -
Man, mad props to you for workin' on the animation stuff! I have serious admiration for anyone who does; I used to try really hard but I don't think I'm made for that calibre of awesome patience.
As for FA, I say go for it-- it sounds like a good compromise! I guess it might sound kind of silly to ask, but would you mind if I nicked the idea, myself?-
awah go ahead! i dont think i own a monopoly on that idea haha

As for FA, do whatever you feel works best and makes you the most comfortable. If you think posting at least some art to FA will be beneficial, then go for it-- but if you feel that the toxicity of the site is too bothersome, then perhaps consider which position is more important to you regarding.

I didn't know binders could be destroyed by washing machine? What did your aunt do? I just wadh mine with cold water and hang it to dry, i hope that's not bad for it hahah sweats
I had only 2 animations subjects but i remember they were my fav haha, hope you're getting a kick out of them and maybe let us see what you work on there sometime-
mm yeah, the kind i have can go through the washing machine, but it needs to be air dried. my aunt put it in the dryer and it damaged the actual binding material and rendered useless ;o;

Animatioooon -beams- I do hope you get enjoyment from it, it's hard but so rewarding. Anywho I think your idea for FA is great, the benefit is you can still get ppl to come to the weas, but also if thing s are real busy, it's not like you are spending a bunch of time maintaining another art site.
