HEY. RATE YOUR STUFF PROPERLY by magnus
I have my filter set to PG13 and I keep seeing a ton of nipples and stuff. FYI, on Weasyl the Moderate(PG13) rating states, regarding mild nudity:
Nudity: May contain individuals who are minimally clothed (e.g. low cut tops, lingerie, or revealing bathing suits) and/or use provocative imagery. May contain partial nudity (e.g. Breast cleavage and exposed buttocks). May not include genitalia, nipples, or areola. For this item, "revealing bathing suits" means:
Suits which barely cover genitals/female breasts.
Suits which show visible bulges.
So hey if you've got titties hanging out, please tag it as MATURE not MODERATE.

Thanks for this journal Magnus. I'll admit I've been trying to go out of my own way whenever possible to try to rate things as accurately as I can ^^

Proper ratings and tags are probably some of the most crucial things people need to keep in mind, especially now that we have a proper system for it. It helps others actually find it and keeps the whole site organized!
Also tag_your_goddamn_nipples is a really good tag-as-summary.

I think some might be assuming the rating system works the same as FA's....so oops 8c but yeah I've been seeing that too.

Thanks for the reminder. I went through and retagged a lot of my gallery, because there are some characters sufficiently endowed that it's probably best to consider them "mature" even when they're fully clothed. And abundance of caution, etc.

It's actually super-important for people to do this now, before they have uploaded their massive galleries with incorrect ratings. It totally destroys the usability of the site AND its suitability to general (furry) audiences. Thanks for the PSA

This doesn't count for male nipples, right? Or does it? Would counting male nipples in those be an act of equality lol

I don't think it counts for dude nipples? I think just for huge jugs :T

Well lucky for you I don't draw nsfw stuff (at least not very often. I'm pretty sure the last time I drew something with actual nudity was like 6 years ago). But I will keep it in mind :)

I admit I had to go back and read the guidelines, since I had always considered nipples a moderate thing, since you can see them in a PG-13 movie, as long as they were just classic nude nipples. Regardless the rating system is pretty nice here, I like that there's a difference between the two higher ratings as well.

Oops, I just checked my stuff and it looks like I've been guilty of that as well.
