One person's excuse is because they dont think this place is "commissioner friendly" an that the collection thing seems "forced"

I dont see why people dont wanna use this site, even those who rant over the collections system got to know its OPTIONAL not required such a shame, I'm active on both sites

i think everything is fine with this site. MUCH more than FA. I don't know what's wrong with people....

About FA is Dragoneer and other "developers" are doing things horrible wrong... there is no experience, and they don't want to hire anybody who is understand how things are going or simply that's their real job. So so stucked and conservative thinking...

I don't get it either, I mean.. this site have a really clean and great design, and it have many features that FA lack. I will still use both Weasyl and FA. But I think Weasyl is highly underrated.

I plan to stay on both.

FA is dying again!

People are afraid of change and Dragoneer has a large fanbase. Give it time, people will come to see the light. Weasyl is the superior site (as shown yesterday by the seamless server migration) and when people start to lose their art due to hardware, software or admin failure on FA they'll jump ship faster than Dragoneer can say "What happened?".

I know there's been a few issues with people's DNS acting up because our redirect, so the devs have been working on that. I haven't been home too much today but from what I can tell from our footer, we're getting a decent amount of folk so far in the last hour. As long as people try and be active here and interact with others, favourite and comment on other people's stuff and whatnot, I'm sure things can stay consistent. Everyone just needs to put in a little effort. c:

Maybe we'll pull in more people over time with future updates too, who knows?

I'm not going anywhere. I no longer trust FA to use for communication and art back and forth. I don't care who does go back, to name one person. I know of a lot of others who are sticking around, many of which have thousands of followers 'elsewhere'

I'm not going anywhere. And from what I hear and see, FA is still having problems. Keep posting, people will come. =)

As many have said, unfortunately the /majority/ of the fanbase is currently on FA. And because many FA artists require their art income to live, they are scared of branching out.

I rebooted my Weasyl and my SF during the downtime. It was nice, feels like a "fresh start" sorta thing. I will be slowly continuing to keep up all 3, with the hope that way that more people will start to use other sites. I think, to be honest, the week+long downtime should have taught most artists that they NEED to expand, and that they shouldn't keep all their business on just one site.

People has fear that this site is not fan based, more artist like... and also they have fears by "collection" function... But it's so wrong!

My strongest plan to release my arts earlier here then uploading to FA later in much lower quality, putting a link into comment. So people will know about this site and bit... forcing them here by good intention. I don't exactly want this problem again. Usually we're using FA for main communication (notes) i know now, it was a bad choice...
