🌱Remo(dog) scare. But it looks okay now. [medical] by Uluri

Gosh frik, today was quite the morning. Remo somehow managed to rip one of his toenails off, and there was just blood EVERYWHERE. Me and Kaioku Spent the whole morning getting it to stop while on the phone with the vet. Luckily right now since we got it to stop bleeding we don't have to go to the vet. At first I thought I was the only one in my house when this was going on, but luckily I wasn't alone because There is no way I can handle Remo by myself. He normally does not let people touch his feet and it takes two people to tustle with his paws. 


His foot is now covered in Starches, Napkins, Socks and medical tape. He's laying down with a super bummed looking face. Will be tending to this idiot for a while it seems. Gonna be an absolute fuuuun time taking him out to potty. Hope his nail will heal up quickly and grow back. TuT

      He's alright now. He's got a sock on his foot and hanging out on the couch.

      We have him good now. Got it to stop bleeding and is now in a cool red n black sock. He should be fine as long as we can keep is clean n covered.

      Because he was being a dumb idiot. I would say the same thing if it was my brother or myself who lost my toenail for a dumb idiot reason as "oops, nabbed my toe on the floor wrong. Forgot to lift it all the way walking through the door". It was a dumb idiot thing to happen any species.

        Well, the term "idiot" is pretty harsh because dogs can't say anything back, and it's really reserved for humans only. Dogs are dogs, they're not stupid and are probably smarter than the average human at this point; chances are the poor thing was extremely uncomfortable and did that for a reason.

    One of my birds managed to pull out two nails by being a crazy loon and the screaming scared me more than the blood did cos I didn't know wtf was happening x.x glad your pupper is better.

      oooww. Birb, what are you doing? I kinda wish Remo said something, because at first I thought I cut my own feet again and just didn't feel it. SInce he was just standing there looking at a mystery puddle. But I also guess it was good he wasn't in a panic.
