Yeah, I try to comment as much as possible, especially right now while people...were... flooding the place. Not sure if activity will pick up for good, but I really hope it does.

Unfortunately, the trickle back is already starting to happen. At this point, the admins could openly sell everyone's personal info to multiple corporations and people would still stay.

I suppose there is the issue of FurryNetwork gaining a lot of momentum recently, too.
The longer FA is down, the longer interest for it will be hype-hype-hype....but ehh.. idk.
Twitter + Tumblr as a core seem okay for also finding people to chat up and images and music and stuff to partake in.

the one everyone's jumping to this time seems to be furry network, which is a bit of a shame because it would be nice to see this place start gaining a bit more momentum

I'm not into Furry Network due to a number of reasons but gosh yeah, weasyl could stand to have more active community to it.

Same here, but they have a huge active community suggestion board and they're always going through it and approving/putting the ideas up for discussion so I have a feeling it's gonna get a bit better later on. It is in beta still after all

it's kind of nice that it's quieter here i think. you don't get as much traffic as quickly yea, but in a smaller community its easier to know everyone. i like it.

I try to comment and fave over here even when I'm following people on multiple sites, because any activity is good activity. Admittedly, it IS hard to stay on track, but man I really, really wish that Weasyl wasn't such a ghost town. As far as gallery sites go, I like the uploading process/thumbnailing option, and that there's separate sections of galleries for characters and collections. It's rad.

yeah! there are so many good things about weasyl. but yeah, a site that has very little in terms of community is... unfortunate.
