i just wanted to say, hi weasyl lets keep trying to spread our community to other websites and not let it stay in one area that could implode

the problem is ppl view FA as the only place and view places like here as failures without considering it took years for FA to get to that point. I wish more people would let weasyl build properly instead of coming then giving up within a year or less 8(

If possible, FA and Weasyl could partner up with one another which would help out Weasyl a lot.

This is what people have been saying about FA for years and it still hasn't happened. Short of something occurring that takes FA down permanently I don't see anything unseating it as the dominant furry site, which is really unfortunate.

I certainly hope I'm wrong about FA remaining the most populous furry site. Time will tell. But if the password resets are going as badly as it sounds and a significant number of people are permanently locked out of their accounts, that might actually motivate folks to move.

I totally switched to Weasyl after hearing about all the weird stuff that happens with FA sooo.... I'm only there to stalk artists I love!

The longer it is down, the easier it will be for people to make a more stable presence here, at least I hope so!

The thing is that even when FA is down for a very long time, yes, people use Weasyl for a while, but then they (almost always) leave again as soon as FA comes back.

Yeah the way things are going on FA I see more sites like Sofurry and Weasyl gaining some attention. As well as any other sites.

I've been keeping steadily active here, but Weasyl is only about 10% of the compared traffic on FA :(
