I wanted to finish this picture on stream, but I never found the right opportunity to do so. And I wanted to upload it earlier, but things always got in the way, of course… :P
On this picture I tried to mash together many things I like about aliens and biomechanic stuffs. And I also give a try to a little different, thinner lineart style. That thing on the back of his head is an energy core, and those „wings” on the sides of his head can be folded open, and they work as solar panels. I’m kinda proud of the hands, it was super fun to make them :>
By the way, his name is Vektor, and he's a character from a sci-fi story I try to make. I hope you like him :)

Its a really stunning design. I do question what about his purpose (is he built? Grown? Kinda on that edge of mechanical and bio-mechanical!) makes him want to pull his heart out. Doesn't seem upset at the idea, so maybe its to just look it over for damage while he charges up for the day.
The outside body is really well made. From lots of smooth spaces punctuated by what would normally be muscle groups. Keeps it looking very human even though its very much not. Great work!
