AGH, your lighting and backgrounds are always just unreal. I mean, beautiful character work, of course (that's a very convincingly drawn yawn-face, with the forehead crinkle and all), but jeez, your lighting on this is amazing. The shine on the window and particularly the shadow of the windowframe's cross-beam is just one of those things that looks so natural you' barely notice it and yet it totally makes the piece.

Gotta break every now and then.

I love the sunshine and the yawn. I can't tell if it's early morning and he studied all night or if it's late after noon and the sun is about to go down. Personally I like the due diligence of studying all hours to get the work done before school. The fact that I've put this much thought into interpreting your art is a pretty good indication of how good it is. I mean some art is nice enough to just look at but I think some art is better than the norm when a person stops to think about something because of it.
