I don't know about you, but I'm more than ready for autumn. I live in a desert, so the temperature drastically increases in the summer. It doesn't seem like the season is transitioning yet, might have to do with the climate.

But even aside from the high temperatures, I heat up really easily. There have been a few instances where the temperature is relatively cool, yet there was quite a bit of warmth radiating from my chest. My core provides an abundant amount of heat, more than I'd like it to. But it's just the way I am, nothing much I can do about it. Although it's a trait I'm even less fond of because I love getting cozy. I'd be more than happy to wrap myself in a warm blanket if I wasn't so sensitive to heat.

Ah well, at least the temperature should decrease soon, and I'll be able to comfortably photosynthesize Vitamin D again. Though it would be nice if the leaves did become as vivid in color as they do in some places. Here, the leaves are a bit somber in color. I guess it's good in a way because they won't be too bright and shocking to the eyes.

Oh! I almost forgot to introduce my little friend here. This is Dusk, he's one of my plushie companions. Dusk has been with me for quite some time. I like to perceive him as a living dream catcher that's a hybrid between a Yoshi and an unknown species of dinosaur. He doesn't sleep, but he can guard the dreams of those who do sleep. He's very good at guarding my dreams. That or I make it easy for him by watching something really lighthearted after watching something scary.

He and I have the strongest bond out of all of my plushies. You could say we have a bond that transcends time and space. He was by my side throughout some of my most trying of times. He'll always have a place in my heart.
