A fantastic piece by SnowSnow11 depicting one of the angels/holy-ones from my “Fidonhaal” setting.
This is Stromarus, the Angel of Water. Large and muscular in form, he wears a light, kilt-like garment about his waist and carries a great spear. His body glows with a grand blue light that can be at once soothing and imposing. He is the husband of Terranah, the Angel of Earth.

Together, Stromarus and Terranah are the parents of the Arbonyns (Tree-folk; think smaller versions of Ents from J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-Earth, or the Spriggans from the “Elder Scrolls” setting, with some “wolf people” to their forms) and the Stronyns/Merfolk, which appear much as we’d likely expect our “type” of merfolk to be, albeit with anthro-wolves as the upper half of their forms.

Though quite grand and imposing in form, Stromarus has been noted as being kindly, if also fairly taciturn. Being affiliated with all the waters of the world, he is also associated with the creatures of the seas, rivers, and lakes, as well as nautical navigation and travel, and the like. He is perhaps especially revered throughout much of Kellmayar, the Nation of the West, as it is the site of the largest desert in the world of Fidonhaal, which is thus a place where water is greatly valued. Indeed, the most important river on that continent, and the longest single one in the world, is directly named after him, and is furthermore sourced from a lake named “Stromarus’s Ewer.”
