A fantastic piece by Snowsnow11 depicting one of the angels/holy-ones from my “Fidonhaal” setting.
This is Yorun, the Angel of Night and the Moon. Tall and lean in figure, he wears a light veil over his face in addition to light, flowing robes. He bears a lantern fixed to a tall staff, and his body glows of a deep blue light.

He is the husband of Maywa, the Angel of Day and the Sun. Together, they are the source of the benevolent entities known as moonwisps and sunwisps, which potentially appear in favored places during their respective times of day or night. Both are also commonly associated with revelations, truth, enlightenment, and the like, with Yorun being particularly affiliated with dreams, and the visions, portents, and prophecies that have come from dreams. Though kindly and caring of the mortals of the world of Fidonhaal, Yorun has been noted as being one of few words by most who have encountered him.

In Fidonhaal, a secret order that is heavily steeped in mystery and controversy is that of the Yorunian Nightblades, a shadowy network of assassins. It is said that they are not for hire by anyone, being instead a group who act solely at their own discretion and only resort to murder in the direst of situations, targeting the most corrupt and dangerous of individuals. Their numbers are unknown, as is the exact number of times they have acted in history. Though the Temple of Fidonhaal has constantly denied having any affiliation with them, this claim has been met with much skepticism. All that is known of them for certain are their daggers, shaped in the likeness of the crescent moon, along with their veils and robes, mimicking those of Yorun himself.
