Time to slow things down for a moment (sorry!)
When the player first begins the fourth (and final) season of the game, the world seems a much bleaker place. As such for both this night version here, and the day version [I'll be uploading that soon!] are both sparse and ambient.
If the player is able to track down other characters who may have survived what recently transpired in the story, the song will gain more tracks, and begin to sound less bleak. I'm likely to be posting those versions of the song as I progress through writing the story, and writing more music.
This tune eventually becomes a medley of tunes from previous seasons. Can you name them? :0

They're honestly really hard to identify in this particular tune, to be fair. ;~; I disguised most of the main melodies very heavily, or omitted them. The later cuts of this theme (and its daytime counterpart) make it blatantly obvious, though! So it will become easier! :D

No I cannot name the tunes. I will recognise bits and pieces however. I have only heard each once (though some more times), and while I recall some stuff after tune has played, it'll all be overwritten with the next one :P
But that is why my desktop got filled with the files of yours, so I'll revisit them, and eventually I have all of them memorized to last bits. That will take several listens however, many.... sometimes I listen great stuff for days in a loop, or rather I loop the tune so it plays endlessly.
(I also have ridiculously poor short term memory :P)
Anyway I like this one and it gets downloaded and will be revisited !
