Boy with Flowers

I may decided to add color to him, but for now this is finished. Just a semi quick drawing in my grey tone sketch book. Inspired by some amazing graphic designed art done mostly in black and white. "Boy with Flowers" (bad name), 9 x 12, Micron pen, white gel pen and a tine bit of Acrylic was on grey tones paper. Original SOLD, prints for sale.

    This is really good. I can't find fault with anything, anatomy and proportions, the design in the background, the shading, the composition, all good!

      Thanks! I have not done a lot of black figures but I love their skin color (not that this shows it) and their features (my son is half black). But I seldom get them right when I draw or paint them (or at least not to my satisfaction). This one I am fairly happy with. :)

    I'd be more than 'fairly happy' with this. It's goddamn beautiful! I actually want to buy a print of this. The form and attention to detail is just delightful.

      Gee, thanks! :) 8 1/2 x 11 prints are $20. The original is $50.

        When I have the money to spare, I'll buy a print. I wouldn't want to risk damaging the original. Also shipping costs are horrendous these days. I'll definitely be sure to get back to you on it though.
