Little Cousin by TideKeeper

Little Cousin

TideKeeper

In which Keeba makes a new friend. And promises not to eat him.

Which is probably for the best anyway; skin toxins are gross.

Keeba and his buddy belong to TideKeeper.

Do not steal them. I'll eat your ears.

      He's of a race I designed a few years ago; I enjoy creating things like that. :3 He's what's called a Maelin.

And lizard buddies are awesome! (Especially if they're similar to beardies, omg)

hehe oh i love bearded dragons... kinda xD We (my family) had two of them, a boy and a girl back when i was a kid. They are very friendly! So i can see why someone would like them, plus those spikes look awesome =x I like them a lot but i happen to certain other lizards a bit more x3

I always look forward to seeing more!

Funny that, I currently have a male and female myself! They're very sweet, and as my first experience with owning reptiles, incredibly wonderful little companions. I love their temperaments.... Plus I think I might have gotten lucky with my pair, as they both like to be held and interact with people quite a bit more than I was led to believe possible. :D

Ah that's great! Reptiles definitely need more love since they get such a bad rep from a lot of people. Mainly the myth about them being slimy =x I agree with you, reptiles are excellent pets. I know very little about them apart from personal experiences... not sure how smart they are, or how affectionate they can be, but they are quite pleasant to have around. My mother and father tried to breed the dragons we had, but I cannot remember how that went. I think there were eggs but i was much younger and cannot remember what became of them. Hopefully nothing terrible. Maybe I blocked it out @_@ *ahem* anyway it's great that you enjoy them as much as you do! I wish I could meet them! I should get my own reptiles at some point but I have my mind set on a big ass rat haha..... didn't we talk about you having a mouse/rat once xD

I can't speak for all lizards of course, but the dragons I have seem rather intelligent; I've been able to target-train them, and they both seem to know their names fairly well. :) I've got them housed in separate terrariums now (according to the breeder, they were both supposed to be female, whoops) but they were tankmates for a while first.

I'm not sure if we did, but I can definitely vouch for rats as pets. I absolutely love their company; they're very sweet and affectionate, highly intelligent, and just plain adorable besides. My first rat used to curl up with me and watch Scrubs; I used to joke that he had a crush on Carla, as he always chittered happily when she spoke. :P
