Chapter 23: The Truth

"So Archibald is alive?" Aero asked.

"Yes he is."

"He abandoned his laboratory on the surface of Velbus and left Velbus before getting killed by Vaxtus. Well, actually, he built a new body and and sent it away so that he could still live even after he got destroyed." Astro explained.

"How did you get to Atmo City?" Maisy asked.

"There was a teleporter in the asteroid lab that Archibald was working on. I went down to where it was and while looking at teleporter destinations, I found Velbus and got curious. I decided to use it to come here. However, the teleporter is still in development and could only send me one way, so I can't get back using the teleporter."

"Where is Archibald now?" Sakura asked.

"He is on an asteroid about 250,000 miles from Alterra. A long ways from here."

"If that's true, we have to go to get him back." Aero said

"How? Even we can't escape Velbus' gravitational pull." Maisy said.

"No. But I know of a way to escape it." a familiar voice said.

A small light green Jetroid came into the room. He was green with yellow and gray leg engines. He had a chipper look on his face.

"Yuesbi, what are you proposing?" Aero asked.

"So your name is Yuesbi?" Astro asked.

"Yes. As I was saying, the research facility in Atmo City has been building a spaceship called the Cutlass we can use to get into space."

"We saw that ship earlier. The four of us could go. Maisy, could you call Sparks and Volt and tell them we need the Cutlass to go into space?" Aero asked.

"Of course" she said.

Meanwhile outside the building, a shady green Jetroid said with smile. "So Archibald is still alive... If I can sneak aboard the hero's ship, they will take me to Archibald. Then I can destroy him for good."

Sparks and Volt recieved the call from Maisy, and prepared the Cutlass for the trip and rolled it onto the helipad. But that night, a shady figure got on board and found the ship's secret compartment in the cargo area. It was rectangular and big enough for him to fit inside. He managed to squeeze in and make sure nothing was undisturbed.
