Chapter 24: To the Stars

The next day, Aero, Astro, Sakura, and Yuesbi showed up at the research facility where Sparks and Volt had prepared the Cutlass for liftoff.

"Yuesbi, you've grown a lot since we first met" Aero said before approaching the ship. "I think I can trust you for this mission."

"Ok."

"What are you two talking about?" Astro asked.

"It's something that happened long ago." Aero said.

"Now be careful and good luck." Sparks and Volt said. "Even if this doesn't make it back, we have plans to mass produce it."

"Ok, thanks" Aero said as the four of them boarded the Cutlass. After taking their seats, Aero used the instructions recieved from Sparks to start the Cutlass. The Cutlass lifted off from the helipad and flew until it was out from underneath Atmo City. Aero then made the ship go into a steep climb. It passed through Velbus' atmosphere and after 20 minutes left it entirely.

"So, the asteroid Archibald is on is about a 3 day journey from Alterra, but a 5 day journey from Velbus. We should get there in about 5 days at best." Astro explained.

"That's good." Aero said.

"I can't stay awake for that long." Yuesbi said.

"I have faith in all of you" Sakura said.

Meanwhile, in the cargo area, the shady guest made a recording.

"Vaxtus' Log:

I have overheard that Aero and his friends are going to find Archibald. They told me that they needed a ship to leave Velbus and get to where Archibald is. Once they reach their destination and find Archibald, I'll destroy them all and turn them into scrap metal. Then Atmo City will lose the greatest heroes it has ever had.
