This is SteelJaw, my Spotted Hyena full costume. She's my first full suit, first resin head, first try at resin claws, first cast pawpads, first airbrushed suit, and first use of wefting on a suit. Overall, she's my 3rd costume.

SteelJaw features:

-Resin base head with moving jaw

-Taxidermy eyes by Tohickon and taxidermy jawset by McKenzie

-Resin handpaw and feetpaw claws of my own design

-Cast urethane rubber pads on the hands and feet of my own design

-Digitigrade padding separate from the body suit to facilitate cleaning and imitate natural muscle movement under the skin

-Shoulder and upper arm padding

-Wefted Kanekalon on the tail

-All airbrushed markings

-Plastic fiber whiskers

I've already gotten some heavy critiques on this suit, all of which really, really helped me in finding the flaws and knowing what to do for next time. This costume does have quite a few problems, which I hope to correct in version 2!
