Took the time over my Spring break to finally finish this personal piece. A lot more firsts in this one: strong Art Deco and linear elements, geometric composition and an entirely different coloring technique and a palette I'm not normally comfortable with (despite loving the colors themselves). Now that I'm done with this though it's back to commissions.

I'm not going to rattle on much more about it, I'd rather you all get your own impressions from it. I will however decrypt the Asuran scrawl written in the ring. They aren't in order, they're fragments and excerpts from Zepp's various notes over the years. What meanings and what context they're in, you're left to decide for yourself.
