It was the one Disney movie I couldn't see when it first came out and it saddened me to no end, but years later I finally got to watch it and it's such a beautiful movie with some seriously hilarious characters.
I've always had a soft spot for big eared, toothy, weird little goblin monsters and it always poses a challenge when I want to balance all of those traits and still make a character like Stitch read as "cute" to most others. Because he's cute to me either way haha.

May I assume you to be a fan of Lilo and Stitch too? I remember how much I used to watch it with my sister. What a lovely little show.
Anyway, I have to say, I compliment your impression of Stitch as you most certainly add a more mischievous trait to him, making him exude an impish personality and appearance. In fact, when I saw the thumbnail, my first thought was that you drew a Gremlin!
