Hello, Weasyl! My name is Sonja (at least through the internet) and I'm a river otter. I'm in the process of revamping my style and art, so you can expect a veritable flood of sketches, studies and works in progress from me. Please be patient with me as I strive to improve myself!

In the art-world, I typically stick to feral styled animals, but I've been dabbling in anthro and painting styles. My commissions are, for the most part, closed; I haven't got enough examples of my work up here to really feel comfortable with my style and art.

On a non-art-related bit.... I'm short, 5"3.5. Blonde hair, weird gray-blue-darkish eyes, and really pale. I used to be an avid gamer, mostly Diablo and World of Warcraft, but my PC broke, so now I'm sharing a laptop with my mate, tree-kangaroo on here. I'm friendly and optimistic, zodiac sign is Pisces and it fits me perfectly! I tend to space out and daydream, I thrive on coffee, and I just recently moved to Wyoming from Connecticut to live with my partner.

My favorite color is teal, my favorite food is cheese (and coffee) and I'm terrified of spiders. I have three absolutely amazing little furry-daughters, they're young rats. The oldest is a black hooded with a blaze, she's 5 months old and her name is Scarlett. The next is Talitha, a 3-month old mink hooded, and the youngest is Guinevere, or Gwen, and she's a ruby-eyed solid champagne. They're my furry children and I dote on them with more food, loves, cuddles and treats than they know what to do with.

Tree-kangaroo is the love of my life, and I don't know what Id do without them. We share a small manufactured home together (most people know them as trailers, but that just doesn't suit ours; it's a house basically, just small and perfectly suited for two people) and live with our girls, two aquariums, one sassy tabby named Tigre, and their male rat, Bobby, who has aggression problems but is currently being worked with. (He's much better.)

Hello all! I'm not very pleased on the subject matter of my very first journal, but I suppose it can't be helped... My commissions are open! I suppose, too, that I had better clarify that I'm only unhappy with the circumstances under which I'm forced to open my commissions up. I recently moved in with my girlfriend, Tree-Kangaroo on here, and the monetary toll of moving across the country hurt a lot more than I had anticipated it to do so. I'm behind on my rent, behind on my bills, and now we're out of food, and both she and I are broke. Instead of sitting around doing nothing, though, I figured it would be best to keep myself busy, and try my absolute hardest to make up whatever money I can to help buy us something to eat in the meantime! Problems don't get solved through sitting around. That also explains the sudden new character designs I submitted earlier today. ;)

So, now you know the source of my misery. x.X;; It's difficult to remain hopeful while my life is going up in flames around me, but for Kangaroo's sake I will. Either message me here or note me if you're interested in a commission - and I apologize that I don't have many examples uploaded, I don't have access to the computer which has all my old art on it. :c
